Bujinkan Bujutsu
Bujinkan (Warrior Spirit Training Hall) is the organizational name chosen by Hatsumi Sensei to represent the collective nine ryuha (schools) we study. These schools were inherited by Hatsumi Sensei from his teacher Takematsu Sensei in the late 1960's.

Refined on the battlefield in real life and death situations these ancient systems contained many teaching that had been altered or omitted from the modern martial arts he had studied in the past.

With literally thousands of student's world wide the Bujinkan is quite possibly the fastest growing Martial Arts Organisations to come out of Japan in the last 30 years. The Soke (Family Head) is Massaki Hatsumi and he is still actively teaching his many students 3 times a week in northern Tokyo .

Sensei is also the recipient of 3 Honorary Doctorates from various universities and has been awarded the title Todo Hanshi (Master teacher of the way of the sword) on February 11th 1995 by Nakazawa Toshi, President of Zen Nippon Todo Renmei Japan Sword Federation.
Over the last 40 years Hatsumi Sensei has also published many books on martial arts in both Japanese and English,  here’s a few of his more recent ones……

So what's our training all about?
Read on, watch our clips and you will understand a little bit about it but remember that you really have to experience it for yourself first hand to know what's going on. So much of what happens in the techniques is hidden from the observer; you need to feel it to understand it better.
