Our Instructors
Craig Guest 8th Dan Black Belt
"I began training in martial arts at the age of 13 with Taekwondo and started in the Bujinkan in 1990. Over the years I have trained in many different countries including living and training in England for about 2 years. I have traveled to Japan specifically for Martial Arts training within the Bujinkan 6 times. Since 2003 I have been a full time martial arts teacher/student."

"I started training in Penjak Silat when I was 5 as my father was the local instructor; I also trained in Karate for a little while. I looked at many martial arts before I decided to commit to training in the Bujinkan.  What I like the most is that compared to other martial arts I’ve examined is that it has a much wider range of skills to learn."

Mathew Majewski 2nd Dan Black Belt
"I started training under Sakaguchi Sensei while living in Japan in 2001 for 12 months, since then I have returned to Japan twice and have been training at Guests Martial Arts since returning to Australia in 2002. At Guests Martial Arts I’ve found the training challenging but enjoyable and after studying in Japan I can say that I am extremely satisfied with the quality of the classes here in Melbourne. Plus with the added advantage the instructors speaking English making it a lot easier to understand important concepts."
